Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully. Zippee is only a venue. You are solely responsible for your own transactions and payments — take your time and verify everything before you pay. See Section 5.
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and Zippee (the “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a multi-service marketplace operated from the Republic of Liberia. The Platform includes the Zippee website and the Zippee mobile applications, and the services known as ZippeeHome (real estate — buy, rent, land), ZippeeStay (short stays) and ZippeeGigs (local services).
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- “Content” means anything you submit, post, or transmit — listings, photos, descriptions, prices, messages, reviews, applications, and profile information.
- “Provider” means a Seller/Agent/Agency (ZippeeHome), Host (ZippeeStay), or Local Services Provider (ZippeeGigs).
- “Consumer” means a buyer, renter, guest, or customer using the Platform.
- “Transaction” means any dealing between users — viewing, negotiation, booking, hiring, contract, payment, or transfer of money, goods, services, or property.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. What Zippee is — and is not
Zippee is only a venue and technology platform that lets users discover one another and communicate. We are NOT a real estate broker, agent, landlord, property manager, hotel, travel agency, employer, contractor, escrow service, bank, or payment processor, and we are not a party to any Transaction between users.
We do not own, manage, inspect, endorse, verify the legality of, or guarantee any property, stay, service, listing, price, user, or Transaction. Any “verified” badge reflects only a limited internal check for convenience and is not a guarantee of identity, ownership, honesty, quality, or safety. Listings, reviews, and profiles are created by users, not by Zippee.
5. Transactions are solely between users — Zippee is not responsible
This is the most important part of these Terms. Every Transaction on or arising from the Platform is solely and entirely between the users involved. You are solely responsible for everything you do on the Platform, including every payment and every Transaction you make, accept, or arrange.
Zippee does not hold, process, transfer, escrow, guarantee, refund, or insure any money, deposit, rent, booking amount, service fee, or any other payment between users. Any payment is made directly between the users, off-platform, at their own risk.
- Take your time. Independently verify the other party’s identity, the ownership and condition of any property, the accuracy of any listing, all documents, dates, amounts, and the booking or job status BEFORE you pay any money or make any commitment.
- Never send money before you have confirmed everything for yourself. Prices shown in the app (rent, nightly rate, cleaning fee, service estimates, totals) are estimates provided by users and are not guaranteed.
- Zippee is not responsible or liable for any loss, fraud, scam, theft, damage, injury, non-performance, misrepresentation, or dispute arising from any Transaction, payment, communication, meeting, stay, rental, sale, or service between users.
- If a Transaction goes wrong, your remedy is against the other user, not against Zippee. We may, but are not obligated to, help by providing records to lawful authorities.
6. Payments and manual payment
Zippee does not currently process payments inside the apps. No card, mobile-money, bank, or other payment is collected by Zippee at the time of a listing, booking, or service request. Any payment — including mobile money, bank transfer, or cash — is arranged and settled directly between the users, manually and off-platform.
Because payment happens off-platform, you alone bear the risk of any payment you make. Verify the recipient, the amount, and what you are paying for before sending money. Zippee is not responsible for payments made outside the Platform and cannot reverse, refund, or recover them.
7. Your Content and acceptable use
You are responsible for your Content and confirm you have the right to post it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Zippee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You agree not to:
- post false, misleading, fraudulent, duplicate, or unlawful listings, or advertise property/services you have no right to offer;
- attempt to scam, defraud, deceive, or steal from any user, or solicit payment under false pretenses;
- use abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene, or offensive language toward any user or staff;
- engage in sexual harassment, sexual solicitation, or share sexual or otherwise objectionable content;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent your identity, or use another person’s identity documents;
- post illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items or services;
- harass, stalk, spam, or threaten other users; or collect, scrape, or misuse others’ data;
- attempt to disrupt, hack, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Platform or its security or fees.
8. Zero tolerance — suspension and account deactivation
Zippee has zero tolerance for fraud, abuse, and objectionable behavior. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove Content, restrict features, suspend an account temporarily, or permanently deactivate an account, and report the user to the relevant authorities.
You will be suspended or permanently deactivated if you do any of the following (this list is not exhaustive):
- fraud or any fraudulent activity;
- posting fake, false, or fraudulent listings;
- attempting to scam, defraud, or deceive any user;
- abusive, threatening, hateful, or offensive language;
- sexual harassment or sexually inappropriate conduct;
- impersonation, identity fraud, or misuse of another person’s documents;
- repeated valid reports from other users, or any conduct that violates these Terms or Liberian law.
9. Reporting and moderation
If you see a listing, message, or user that violates these Terms, report it using the in-app report option or by emailing zhchatbot@hotmail.com. You can also block another user to stop receiving their messages. We review reports and act on objectionable Content and abusive users, including removal and account deactivation. We aim to act on credible reports promptly.
10. ZippeeStay (short stays)
ZippeeStay lets a guest send a booking request and a host approve or decline it. A booking request and any “approved” status are only a coordination tool — they are not a payment, a contract guarantee, or a reservation held by Zippee. Payment is manual and arranged directly between guest and host. Guests may be asked to provide a photo ID for the host’s and Zippee’s verification; hosts are responsible for their property, its legality, safety, and availability. Verify everything before paying.
11. ZippeeGigs (local services)
ZippeeGigs lets customers find local service providers and request services, and lets providers and customers coordinate an appointment. Zippee is not the employer, agent, or guarantor of any provider and does not supervise, control, or guarantee any service. Providers are independent and solely responsible for their work, licensing, tools, conduct, and any harm caused. Customers verify the provider and agree price and scope directly. Payment is manual and off-platform.
12. Provider identity and verification
Providers must apply and, where required, submit a full legal name as shown on a valid government-issued ID, a selfie, and (for agencies) business documents. Providers cannot change their own locked identity fields after registration; corrections are made by Zippee admin. Identity documents and selfies are kept private and used only for verification, as described in the Privacy Policy. Approval is required before a Provider can post; a standard account can apply to upgrade to a Provider.
13. Rewards and referral program
Zippee may offer rewards, giveaways, and a referral program. The headline figure (e.g. “up to $150 USD”) is a maximum, not a promise. Typical referral terms: you earn a bonus only when a referred friend signs up with your code and completes a qualifying, admin-verified deal; bonuses are capped; self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and fraudulent or unverifiable referrals are ineligible and may be forfeited. Zippee may change, suspend, or end any rewards program at any time.
14. Optional paid features
Posting a standard listing is free. Providers may optionally request paid features such as a listing boost (higher placement for a limited time) or a plan/verification upgrade. These are optional, paid using the methods shown on the Platform, and activated by a Zippee administrator after payment is confirmed; they are not processed as in-app purchases. Paid placement increases visibility only and does not verify a listing or guarantee any result. Fees already collected are generally non-refundable except where Liberian law requires otherwise.
15. Intellectual property
The Platform, the Zippee name and brands (including ZippeeHome, ZippeeStay, ZippeeGigs), and its software and design are owned by the operator. You keep ownership of your Content and grant us the license described in Section 7. You may not copy, modify, resell, or redistribute the Platform except as allowed by law.
16. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services (for example hosting, database, maps, and notifications). We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content linked from or used by the Platform. Your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
17. Disclaimers
The Platform and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and the accuracy, legality, quality, or safety of any listing, user, Transaction, or information, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zippee and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of money, property, profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform or any Transaction, payment, listing, communication, meeting, or dealing between users — even if advised of the possibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Zippee (if any) in the three months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Assumption of risk
You use the Platform and interact with other users at your own risk. This includes meeting people in person, visiting properties, hosting or staying with others, hiring or performing services, and sending or receiving money. Use common sense, meet in safe places, and verify before you commit.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zippee and its operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Platform, your Transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
21. Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile/Account → Delete account) or by emailing zhchatbot@hotmail.com. Deleting your account removes or anonymizes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we must keep to meet a legal obligation or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud.
Zippee may suspend or permanently deactivate your account for any breach of these Terms. A person whose account was removed for a violation may be barred from re-registering, and any new account may require admin approval before use. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 8, 17–20, and 22) continue to apply.
22. Governing law — Republic of Liberia
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Platform, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia, including the Constitution of the Republic of Liberia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and to comply with all applicable Liberian laws and regulations.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Liberia, without affecting any mandatory rights you may have under Liberian law.
23. Changes; severability; entire agreement
We may update these Terms; we will post the new effective date here and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
